we are so happy to have a healthy little girl! she is truly her own person she has her own character already!

she had a due date but we missed it she came a week and a half late. we had gone in to the hospital at just before 8am on July the 21st for a scheduled induction, before the morning was pau my water broke and i was in the heat of contractions by 3 or 4 pm, by 7 pm i asked for some "help" i got my first epidural. by 8 pm they said i may have to have a c-section because the baby was not dropping and i was not dilating. i got a blessing soon after by 9pm we had problems with the epidural and i had to get it redone. then they put me on oxygen because i was having some breathing troubles soon after we had a drop in baby's heart rate but it came back and the doctor said again that i would have to decide to get a c-section. ( i was fighting the idea) i finally agreed and the doctor came back and said that someone was in surgery now and that i could have a team called in or i could wait to see if in a few hours if the situation would change. they monitored me and baby with Ian waiting by. then the other person in the operating room had finished they came in to talk to me again and baby and i just started dropping so all questions went out the window we were going in. the staff was so fast in getting me ready and our nurse and doctor that was helping us were awesome! i got in to the OR and they just started getting me ready they took out the epidural and went to do a spinal the first one failed so they had to do another. the sheet went up and i went down i couldn't breath and was shaking really bad, Ian said it was scary. but out came baby Liko! it took us a day to name here even tho we know what we wanted to name her. we had so many wonderful visitors and well wishers we are so blessed!

our first meal in the new place! i have cooked a few more since than!

i finally got ian's father's day gift it was a day late... it was a daddy diaper changing kit! super cute!

we made some shelves thanks ma for the kit.

we also built another shelf outta scrap wood and we built a trunk outta of some wood we got at lowes it has been really fun.

and yes... my belly is still growing!

any time now doctor says but i do have a couple more weeks on my count down!

we have a new place in the world!

hello everyone while i was on Kauai visiting my family Ian found us a cute little studio in Wailuku we moved in and are just unpacking lots of boxes! can't wait to show you pix when it is all set up! also while i was on Kauai my mom and a couple of girls that are friends of the family threw a shower for me so much fun and thank you to all that came to help celebrate baby! hope i get to put up some pictures soon!

Week 33, yay look at that dress.... and baby :)

Tara is on Kauai and I miss her!  Thank goodness for telephones and email.

Looking forward to being a father.  I even buzzed my head to lose the mop top and look more fatherly...

even with the new hair cut I'm scared stiff.  Maybe I need a beard for added confidence...

second ultrasound they think its a girl cause they cant see anything.... but they made me read a disclaimer about that .... my confidence dropped a bit... and everyone keeps saying it looks like I'm having a boy... Ian's pretty sure it's a girl .... me about 75% sure it's a girl just hard to be hundred percent when the doctor tells you not to be...

thats us getting bigger!

we are starting to prep for baby!!! we have just gotten an awesome lime green car seat. we are thinking of what colors and themes we are going to do for baby so far we think that we are going to do baby in bright blue! just like on my blog http://arumenitta.blogspot.com/ i love the bright color.... my mom got us a little outfit for baby in bright blue! its cute plain with little ruffles around the sleeve. as for theme still working on it. we maybe a little behind schedule we are still looking for baby names. please let us know if you have any ideas!

BAD BLOGGER! yes i am

sorry everyone i have been slacking in the updating the blog department...... yeah

so here is what is going on we are now looking for a place to move to ... crossing our fingers.... we want to move before baby comes so we are doing the apartment hunt...

i finally have gotten to one of the hapai classes and today the lady called and said i can go to the more complete classes on Saturdays but i went to the first one on Wednesday and they gave me this cool calculator!

we have been taking pictures these are the last few

i had pasted them in to my little baby journal.... it's just a sketch book i had so it has a million pages and will probably take me to baby's first birthday. we have written little cards to the baby and pasted them inside ( if you want to write baby a pre birth card you can but the card has to be smaller than 3.5 x 4.5 in i think and have a side that can be glued down )

for big news we got a car seat!!!!!!! yay! so cute! so happy we can bring baby home in something.... thank you grandma and grandpa and to my mom and dad......
